Palm House Terms & Conditions
Credit and Debit Card Policy
- Palm House does not accepts cash as a form of payment. All major credit & debit cards are accepted as methods of payment and deposit.
- We will take a $100 per night pre-authorization on arrival for possible extras/incidentals you may incur during your stay. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged.
- When checking-in to the hotel, we will require a card used for payment to be present along with photo identification.
- We cannot accept pre-authorizations via debit cards. Therefore, any guests wishing to pay with a debit card may be asked to pay their stay in full upon arrival, plus a $100 deposit payment per night.
- Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Our Rates
- All our rates are the best available at the time of booking and are quoted in USD.
- Any amendments or additional bookings may be charged at a different rate.
- All reservations must be paid directly to the hotel at the time of check-in unless pre-paid as an advance purchase. Check-in time is after 4:00 pm and check out is before 11:00 am.
- Should you wish to extend your departure time, please contact our reception on arrival. Late checkout is subject to availability and may incur a fee.
- For advanced purchase rates, ‘no shows’ will be charged the full amount of their booked stay. For flexible rates, ‘no shows’ will be charged the first night of their booked stay.
- For flexible bookings, Palm House reserves the right to pre-authorize the cost of the first night of a guest's stay.
Cancellation Policy
- Should you wish to cancel your reservation, please call us at +1 844-725-6468 or cancel online via your confirmation email.
- Should you cancel or amend your arrival date outside of cancellation period stated in your confirmation email, you will incur a cancellation charge for the first night of your stay. This will be automatically charged to the credit card provided to guarantee the booking.
- If you booked an Advanced Purchase rate, your reservation will not be amendable, cancellable, or refundable; and you will be charged the amount of the full stay at the time of booking.
Payment
- When checking-in to the hotel, we will require the card used for payment to be present along with photo identification.
- If the card originally used to book will not be available at the time of check-in, a new card must be provided for payment, and the original card used will be refunded.
- The new card provided must be presented by the cardholder or the hotel will not accept any cards without the presence of the cardholder.
- All cards presented must be in the name of the person presenting the card.
- We cannot offer refunds for early departures.
Bedding & Capacity
- Standard King Rooms: One king bed. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child.
- Deluxe King Rooms: One king bed. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child.
- Deluxe Two Queen Rooms: Two Queen Beds. Maximum capacity: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
- Premier King Rooms: One king bed. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child.
- Junior Suites: One king bed, separate bedroom and living room. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child.
- Premier One Bedroom Suites: One king bed, separate bedroom and living room. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child.
- Premier Two Bedroom Suites: Two king beds, separate bedrooms and living room. Maximum capacity: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
- Flagler One Bedroom Suites: One king bed, separate bedroom and living room. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child.
- Royal Palm Two Bedroom Suites: Two king beds, separate bedrooms and living room. Maximum capacity: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Children & Extra Beds
- Children under 9 years old stay free of charge when sharing bedding available in the room (including breakfast). Some rooms include a sofa bed that can accommodate 1 adult or 2 children The sofa bed can accommodate 1 adult or 2 children under 9 years old.
- Photo identification is required upon check in.
- Should you require a baby cot, please notify us at time of booking. We can only provide one baby cot per room.
- Each room must have at least one guest who is 18 years of age or older. This applies to bookings with breakfast inclusive for the adult(s).
Pets
- Only dogs of 50lbs or less are permitted on property.
- No more than two dogs per reserved room is permitted.
- A non-refundable pet fee of $200 per room per stay will be charged upon arrival.
- Only dog friendly guestrooms will be available for guests staying with their dogs.
- Your pet should be registered with the property prior to or upon arrival, please let us know at time of booking if possible.
- Pets are entitled to the outdoor seating areas of the restaurant but not indoor.
- Your pets must have all recommended vaccinations currently up-to-date, and you agree to obtain and provide current records from your licensed veterinarian.
Smoking Policy
- Palm House is a smoke-free hotel, with no smoking permitted anywhere within the building.
- Should guests fail to comply with our no smoking policy they will be obliged to pay a room recovery fee of a minimum of $250 to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition.
Website Hyperlinks
- Palm House accepts no liability for websites accessed via hyperlinks on our own website, or for any transactions completed on those sites.
Group Bookings
- Bookings for 10 rooms or more will be considered as a group booking, including any individual bookings that are booked to accommodate groups.

Hotel Security
- Every guestroom at Palm House has a secure door entry system and only guests with key cards can enter.
- Every guestroom door is fitted with a deadlock and self-closing mechanism and has a door viewer for added security purposes.
- All external rooms are fitted with locks on the window.
- CCTV is operational throughout the hotel including all lifts and lobby areas on all floors.
- Security personnel are present in the hotel 24 hours a day. Our reception and guest relations team are also available 24 hours a day.
- All rooms have bedside lighting controls and in-room safes.
- Health and safety guidelines are in place for staff. These guidelines also cover non-harassment of lone female guests.
